I started with engineering —
not because it was the “safe” option, but because I’ve always been curious about how things work. I used to imagine being a hacker, breaking down systems, solving puzzles behind the screen.
But somewhere along the way, I found myself sketching more than coding.
Out of curiosity, I took up an internship with an illustration kit — no big plan, just a random decision that ended up shifting everything. It made me realise design wasn’t just about making things pretty — it was about making them make sense.
It made me realise — even the simplest illustrations or characters often carry deep stories. Behind every shape is structured thought, a reason, a decision. And since I already had a soft corner for drawing since childhood, I naturally started diving deeper into design — slowly learning that UX is where creativity meets intention.
